I happen to have been in upgrade when the first D225 cadets were starting their initial and not one was from the mil path. One came from iAero, 2 came from Oxford with zero turbine time, and one from a jet charter company.
I was in upgrade back in June and the 225 candidate from the company video was touring the NOC. Seems like they do several visits to the school house before they are fully onboard.
