Currently it’s only WB except for CLE 737 and some 756 bases. It applies to any base/equipment that flies outside of US/HI/AKCanada/Mexico/Central America/Caribbean (forget offhand exactly how far into SA isn’t considered global). Right now the only NB base that does any global flying is CLE 737 for the azores but with the XLR’s and potentially the NEO’s doing Atlantic or deeper SA flying it’s a good bet most fleets will be global in the next decade or so.

Whether it’s bad or not depends on your personal situation/philosophy. My buddy is good at maneuvering the system and never got rolled and was always able to protect his days off. He ends up barely working which is awesome. However, for me, the thought of needing to put a lot of effort in to ensuring I actually have the days off I already bid off is an anathema to me.
