We go through this on a regular basis.
I think if I remember the last time, the big things were that ATC and TSA are essential. so they have to go to work. But they won't be paid.
(they'll get it retroactively after the govt is funded).
Bad deal for those people. TSA had a significant sick call rate last time which resulted in long lines and poor service.
