I see SEA DAL pairings almost every month, I see what one to two, depending on the month awards to top 20% SEA 737 DAL pilots, I see one A220 bottom 30% CA and one A330 60% FO. Not one is close to what I see at Alaska…. Not even close, that is the truth. Days off trips all of it, the two top 20% 737 DAL CA’s fly average ALK SEA trips. The Junior A220 CA is always bragging about how awesome RSV is, how he never works… except he works all the time and makes crap. That leaves the A330. She works her line sees ALOT of garbage China and has 17-18 off with 84 hours of pay. That’s the truth!
And this is an Alaska thread, so posting about Alaska Airlines seems, I don’t know maybe appropriate? Living in Seattle and working for Alaska, probably germane.
yeah…. You’re right… posting about SEA is ABSOLUTELY germane. It’s good info. Also, turns out, there’s FOUR other Fn bases brother. Bottom line your experience is A part of what it is to work at AK. Your base, your seniority, your pension, your overrides….. that’s A perspective… AN experience. That doesn’t mean it’s THE experience of working at Alaska. And…. just because YOU don’t go read or post on previous employers forums (I don’t either.)…doesn’t mean that you know the motives of others that do. You MIGHT be right… but so incredibly presumptive to assume that the reason someone who used to work here reads or posts about their current experiences at brand X vs AK is simply to reassure themselves that they made a good decision to leave??? Why even have a forum? Just have
