Before you take an extra job doing any flying, check out your contract. At my airline, our contract states that all flying for pay will be for the company. Also, and probably not too important for you youngsters, in case you "buy the farm" or are even hurt while flying for an outside company, your medical coverage and company life insurance is invalid.
