Would I change some things about 2118, or would I rather have had alpa, sure, but getting rid of AR or switching to ALPA is not the right call, right now. It’s going to get done and it’s probably going to be half way decent, and if it’s not, the pilot group can still vote it down. Just another 1-2.5 years
Union and management sources have told me that the only lawyer the union has had with NMB is urban the culinary lawyer.
the 8-10m is already a sunk cost. It’s gone. We are going to continue to pay highest dues in the world to IBT. We will cut bait and get ALPA so we can get the industry standard contract we deserve.
Only way to get an industry standard contract is with an industry standard union.
ALPA = industry standard.
AR + culinary lawyer = industry joke
