My vote is NO
My “emotional investment” is in people making an informed choice, not the one based on one liners. Very few people put out good arguments worthy of debating. That’s what I tried to do here. I presented my case. Some good points from the nay side, but at least the thoughts are out there.
As for the co-terminal issue, let me put it this way… I care more about the separate hotels than I care about co-terminals. And neither would be something that would sway me one way or another. I do, however, want and hope for an informed vote. And you’ll see me talking about other points that come out as well, and especially any AIP/TA.
The bottom line this… you’ll have 10% of the vote who would vote yes on a 50% paycut in todays environment. They’ll just sit silent and won’t talk. You’ll have 10% who will vote no even if we get $1000 per TFP, best LTD ever seen, working 3 days a month. And many of those are gonna strut around like that dorky, awkward, zit-faced fat kid who thinks he’s smarter and cooler than everyone else. Then there’s the 80% of the vote who will decide which way something goes, and it’s with those people that I want to converse and exchange ideas with. The hard yessies and the hard no’s are a waste of time.
