Zero no-fly lines were awarded for the previous two months at RPA. That could change at the company’s discretion, but that’s anyone’s guess. To the OP and new hires, that’s how seniority works. If one does not like the system, might be best to find a different career where seniority is not as big a factor in every aspect of one’s career.
Despite its downsides, I still prefer the seniority system any day vs having a so-called ‘merit-based’ system that usually rewards the best brown nosers in the company. The OP needs to look at the big picture in the long run.
