ATL was 20 minutes away. The condition of the aircraft would certainly have however been a consideration. Pretty much a certainty you’re going off the end in CHA verses the time to get to ATL. Once the slats and flaps were out I would have stayed with CHA.
Ditto. I am not sure they were talking to the mother ship but maybe they advised on staying put too. Anyways, good job to the crew again. I am sure they were pretty well frazzled after this short flight.
