Whatever you get indoc is yours unless they run another displacement.. so let’s say you got 756 EWR .. but due this 777 EWR displacement bid they end up in excess of 756 EWR FOs.. they could then run another displacement for that category which could mean you getting displaced.
this is the reason why displacements are very expensive for the company .. it results in multiple training cycles
technically correct, you could see a follow on displacement. However, if it’s a new hire category I’m sure they’d just let attrition handle the overages.
As a sfo777 recipient of some great flying, i haven’t paid attention of other domiciles, but is Ewr losing flying or this is just a readjustment of existing flying to 787s and 756? I thought a vacancy was coming first??? That, then displacement bid if necessary? Or straight to the bump bid?
