As a sfo777 recipient of some great flying, i haven’t paid attention of other domiciles, but is Ewr losing flying or this is just a readjustment of existing flying to 787s and 756? I thought a vacancy was coming first??? That, then displacement bid if necessary? Or straight to the bump bid?
Just an edumacated guess, but based on monthly published flight hours I think EWR 777 CAs are at a level that can be supported by current flying. Clearly this is not true of the EWR 777 FO ranks, but I'm not aware of any other BES that has a similar situation. Is anyone else aware of other BES that are potential displacement candidates.
Also, just thinking out loud, but a EWR 777 FO can displace to 737 CA or A320 CA. That never happened in previous displacements during my career. I'll be interested to see if any 777 FOs take that path instead of displacing to NB FO.
