Just saw a rumor on the 777 FB forum that IAH to NRT is going to the 787 in the spring. Doesn’t bode well for IAH 777 in the near to medium term.
It seems logical to me to consolidate Houston long-haul flying to the 756 and either the 777 or the 787. Doesn’t seem to me like there is enough to justify having three wide body bases there.
