As you can see below, that’s just not true. The “cutoff line” for line holders avoiding coverage is top 50% of line holders, which typically is going to be low 40’s% BES seniority. In Nov, the first Line holder to get coverage was generally on Thanksgiving day - not so for Reserve, which is effectively never exempt from coverage, (except for the top couple bidders).

320 A first Coverage/“unstacking”:
ATL line 71%, Res 88% (Res Turkey day 92%)
DTW line 62%, Res 58% (Res Turkey Day 65%)
MSP line 73%, Res 68%, (Res Turkey day 82%)
NYC line 60%, Res 46%, (Res Turkey Day 46%)
LAX line 65%, Res 46%, (Res Turkey Day 46%)

73 A first Coverage/“unstacking”
ATL line 83%, Res 59% (Res Turkey day 75%)
DTW line 46%, Res 48% (Res Turkey Day 48%)
MSP line 97%, Res 51%, (Res Turkey day 56%)
NYC line 60%, Res 69%, (Res Turkey Day 69%)
LAX line 59%, Res 73%, (Res Turkey Day 73%)

As you can see, it’s not “just one category”. Only DTW 73 had coverage anywhere near the “cutoff”, with the rest being at least 60% for a line - some of them much better. The highlighted red is the most Junior pilot to be able to avoid coverage on Thanksgiving Day in each BES, if being willing to do Reg or Res to achieve it. 9/10 BES’s could have Thanksgiving off at 65%, and 4/10 at 82% or better. MSP had 97% being able to avoid coverage at all! “Purple” in both Reg and Res over the 23rd? Not all that much.

Absolutely false.
Damn this is an impressive data/facts based Rebuttal. Sorry HK Fangs got you on this one
