I'm rarely in that situation either, but sometimes stacking up trips at the end of the month, then beginning of the following month creates an issue. It's amazing how much you can condense your schedule with the daily average exceeding 7 hours.
Pre-bid - “you’re going to be home for Halloween right?” Me - “I won’t know for sure until Nov schedule is out.”
wide out - “Hey, looks like I’m home Halloween!” Her - “That’s great, but I really need you home on the 5th.” “Umm. I’m not going to be home on 5th…”
Schedules published - “Hey, I could be home in 5th by WSing this 5 day on 30th, but then I won’t be home for Halloween.” Her - “5th is more important do it”. Successfully WS and drop.
10 minutes ago - “So on Halloween…”. Me “I’m not home on Halloween.”
