Tagging onto this thread, I'm in an upcoming newhire class and was hoping to get a bit more info about typical routes for each aircraft and base. I know this changes month to month, but I just want to get a feel for it to make a more educated bid in the class drop. A while back I saw a post that linked to a site created by a pilot which had all of destinations for each fleet and base for a given month. I can't seem to find it again - does anyone know what I'm talking about? Or have another way to get this info?

In general, the 320, 737, and 7ER do a wide range of flying, from transcons to 30 minute hops. You are more likely to see shorter stage lengths out of ATL than other bases. The 220 does mostly longer legs, 2-3 per day normally. I am not on the fleet but from what I can tell 4 leg days are extremely rare. The 717 is the short haul king of the fleet with only a handful of legs going more than 2 hours. Thankfully 5 leg days have been eliminated but still tons of 4 leg days. The 717 is the fleet that probably has the most credit (non-fly paid time) on trips built for bidding in PBS. Most of the other fleets are "hard time" trips where every hour you get paid is because you flew. Example: a 4 day trip pays a minimum of 21:00 (5:15 per day average). On the 737 you might block 23:00 and thus get paid 23:00, where on the 717 you'd block say 16:30 and still get paid 21:00.
