You’ll be getting the money now or later. Not sure why the company (not our union) decided on that, although I think it probably works out better in the long run for pilots to not have all employees less than a year (there are a lot of more of them than us), taking a slice of the pie. If it were just pilots, it’s a wash, but it’s not.
Might as well make it 2 years or 5 years with that logic then? (As long as other work groups had to wait that long as well)
