The year part is in the United (not our CBA) profit sharing plan. My assumption is that it wasn’t negotiated because it wasn’t at best a wash and at worst a negative to the pilot group. And by negative, I mean every pilot, new hires included, would get less money somehow. I used to be able to find the corporate plan, but it’s now buried on FT.
