My predecessors were responsible for the Moak debacle. The "true" deadzoners. Same ones who sold RJ scope. When the bankruptcy rolled around, they'd have sold their own kid to keep that FAE pension intact. They tried to throw all of us under the bus and almost succeeded. Gave back most of the contract. Lost their pensions anyhow. Then that clown got a term at national, just like Jason is now due to strife and infighting and drama at the FLL BOD meeting. Used that as a springboard to undermine the whole industry, leading to his recent Article 8.
As for the junior pilots, nothing I said is untrue. We have hired 5000+ pilots in the last 3 years who are just glad to be here. There's no way these guys are going to fight. You see it here on the forums every day. Management isn't suddenly emboldened for no reason. They think they have this pilot group by the balls. They see weakness, just like a school yard bully, and we all know the best way to deal with that problem.
You missed the entire point of my post.
What is old is new again yet you want to splinter the pilot group and blame new hires for the problems that Management is putting onto the entire pilot group.
Somehow this is a new problem because of who new hires have voted into ALPA leadership? Or maybe this has been a problem with ALPA going back decades. Or maybe it’s a problem with the RLA and how the whole thing resolves itself between the PWA and management.
Either way, save me “I’ve been here longer so I know better.” You’ve had more opportunities to help fix your issues with ALPA but have done little to fix it.
