blaming new pilots for ALPA being what it is is just as dumb as blaming them for giving away scope 20 years ago.

Somehow this is a new problem because of who new hires have voted into ALPA leadership? Or maybe this has been a problem with ALPA going back decades. Or maybe it’s a problem with the RLA and how the whole thing resolves itself between the PWA and management.
Either way, save me “I’ve been here longer so I know better.” You’ve had more opportunities to help fix your issues with ALPA but have done little to fix it.
We could argue this all day to no avail.
The takeaway is that pilots here, junior and senior, young and old, better wake up and say enough is enough, or history is going to repeat itself. The company has us in check again. It's likely that they see advance bookings dropping, and are putting the pieces in play to drop the hammer on us when the "revenge travel" bubble pops next year. Our next move determines the outcome of this game.
