I was a Boeing lifer. (27, 37, 57, 67, 77) and came to the Bus left seat about 14 years ago. (I didn’t want to go back to guppy left seat) I have never regretted the decision. The Bus ‘thinks’ different. I ram dumped everything Boeing and accepted fifi for who she is. It took about 3 months until I was comfortable in the seat.
I’d rather fly 2-3 leg Airbus domestic vs Boeing international so I’ll retire off fifi in a couple years. Nice problem to have though, trying to decide whether to be a 73 or Airbus Captain.
Wise words indeed. I can't discount just how fortunate I am to have options like these at my age (32). I'm home based on the 78 and have absolutely nothing to complain about ATM, regardless of upgrade opportunities.
I'll take Airbus if it falls to me this bid, otherwise i'll become one with the guppy!
