dude I’ve been here almost a year.. only time I’ve done 5 legs was Inter island ONCE. Most are 2-3 w/ very minimal sits. It’s efficient. AS layovers are way too long and a waste of time. We also have a lot of soft time here and your pay goes up rapidly without even knowing why sometimes. New contract coming soon.
Since our new contract at Alaska took effect most of my layovers got shorter and my soft time has gone through the roof. The addition of ADG (average daily guarantee) to the mix has removed the cost incentive for the long layovers paired with inefficient trips.
