5hr minimum day credit could still have a 4day paying 20hrs. Replace the Day 1 high productivity turn with a low productivity BUF turn, in-base layover, unproductive day 2-4. Lots of sitting around for 20hrs pay
In the end I think TAFB rig change to 3:1 would achieve the desired effect.
A 4day reporting at 6am and duty off at 2200 on Day 4 (88hrs TAFB) would pay 29.33 hrs min credit, making this untenable for the company. There's no way they can have that long of a 4day trip and squeeze in enough block the be worth it for them.
A 4day reporting at noon and duty off at noon on Day 4 (72hrs) would be a min of 24hrs credit, which I think is doable if the company gets their act together and schedules efficiently.
A 3day reporting at 6pm and ending day 3 at 7am (37hrs) would pay 12.3hrs credit, so we'd need to make sure to retain the average daily credit of 5hrs rig.
