I hope they recoup some of their losses, and to the pilots that got cancelled , I wish you all the best and a speedy solution to your situation.

Unfortunately, all the regional's are at the mercy of the legacy carriers when the economy is in it's current condition. This is when you start seeing cut throat actions that you would never expect from regional carriers to stave off the current state of affairs.
