How bad are upgrade times about to get given the aircraft being grounded next year (I'm guessing really really bad)?

I'm not waiting around and am updating apps but if there is something I'm missing please let me know. From what I can see upgrades are about to slow to a crawl. Combine that with the JetBlue merger and the fact that a lot of their pilots commute and will come to some of the Spirit bases (I live in Chicago) and it's all bad news as far as I can see. The only thing I can think of is that attrition is about to increase again which could lead to faster upgrade times but that seems like a huge reach and very hypothetical at best.
