Apparently, at some point after the NK merger, there was talks about acquiring Alaska (in a presentation a couple years ago).

Also it seems we can possibly put LAS, ATL, and ORD as safe bets of remaining a base post-merger. (still not something confirmed and doesn't mean other bases won't stay, only the jist from today's trial)
