Apparently, at some point after the NK merger, there was talks about acquiring Alaska (in a presentation a couple years ago).
Also it seems we can possibly put LAS, ATL, and ORD as safe bets of remaining a base post-merger. (still not something confirmed and doesn't mean other bases won't stay, only the jist from today's trial)

Never thought these words would tumble out of my mouth, but thank god for a millennial with a twitter account and fast fingers. Although I would love a little deeper dive into some of the topics, I am impressed with the concise and unbiased format of his posts, and it’s evident he’s doing background and limited fact checking in between.
