I suggest you get out of the industry all together. If you can't handle one contract negotiation then you won't fare well at any airline. Are you going to crap your pants at every hint of furlough or concessionary contract at a legacy? Fedex pilots have turned down their first TA ever and that should be a matter of pride to the majority. We are in negotiations which is a part of doing business. UA dumped their first TA and it took a few years to get a better one, the same is going to happen here. Just because UA has the largest WB fleet, doesn't mean you'll ever see it at this point in their hiring process, let alone as a captain. Pretty certain with 5.5 yrs at FX you'll be a WB captain for a very long time. If you hate night hub turns then I get it and perhaps another life is for you but read a few of the other forums. DL management basically said they are going to interpret contract work rules to their benefit and the union can grieve it. So everything isn't roses at the legacies. Management throws out a PSA letter and guys panic, typical negotiating tactics by management.
