I do realize it...and it informs my decisions. I really enjoy the "crack." On the rare occasion that they need me to occupy a seat, I drive in, do part of a preflight, don't de-ice, don't get delayed on the ground, don't get re-routed, don't wonder where the hotel shuttle is...it's pretty cushy.
