I would rather sit in the right seat for a 500 hour wonder that came from an RJ and spent those 500 hours flying in the United system than sit in the right seat for someone who hasn’t seen a domestic leg or stayed awake for an entire flight in 15 years. i haven’t needed/cared about bidding freezes, would a WBFO that goes NBFO not be able to upgrade for two years?

I have already more than 1000 121 PIC, but I can feel "it" eroding. Every month the phone doesn't ring I get a little dumberer, and when it DOES ring, it's another mind numbing Transcon or fluffy pillows to Frankfurt.
WBFO to NBFO does NOT incur a two year seat lock for initial (or any I think) upgrade. I could leave the WB for a NB, see the airplane and the system, and then upgrade. Or I could just do the long course, follow the FOM/FM and proceed cautiously.
