I don’t have the contract in front of me to look, but isn’t there also a clause that you CAN bid to a higher pay scale, but you’ll carry the balance of your freeze into the new equipment? So 777 FO to 737 FO spends 12 months on the 737 and then bids up to a higher paying category or seat. They could be awarded, but would take the 24 remaining months with them to the new equipment for a total of a 60 month lock on the new equipment.(?)
