it involved fences protecting folks on both sides until the first guy hired after DOS could hold the 737. The E190/A220 was the gap jet that everybody bid their own DOH. It was fenced from above and below. Once that first new hire was able to bid out of RJ's to hold a 737 or better the fences went away. It's about a 5 year flow through Eagle these days, with significantly better pay as well. We had a side door to E190/A220 for military pilots. They stayed there until able to bid 737 or better, avoiding the RJ work rules and money. Now it's just the work rules.
APA BOD and AE almost had a single list proposal???? APA BOD member from that time period - "we always talked about as a strategic goal, but that was about it." Negotiator from back then - "there was zero talk of this during my time in the building (APA). So many made up narratives out there. Chasing them all down and correcting them requires more time than an (sic) single human being can invest"

The membership never heard of this. The BOD member said it didn't happen. The negotiator said it didn't happen.
