Posting here, new account so I can’t create a new thread. If one were to call out for recurrent, is it as simple as calling CS and having enough sick days in the bank? What happens next, any repercussions or dequal?

For added context, if it matters. On my way out, CJO in hand, class date offer was a bit later than I expected. Is it a pretty bad look to call out for a PC, then submit a 2 weeks notice a week or two later? Or would it be better to tender a resignation and have my two weeks be the day before I’d DH out for training? I’d rather not go through a major jeopardy event for probation RPC here in a couple weeks. And also want to keep my head down, I know there was something last year or two about threatening to terminate pilots for sick calls in the holiday season?
