Hypothetical situation: 5 GS pairings to be assignned, lets say later in the month. 5 total in-base pilots theoretically available with appropriate slip requests on file; when awarded, I'm senior in the group and have already had GS #1 while the other 4 pilots have zero GS for the month. If I specify pairing 1xyz as my top preference, does my seniority carry any weight at all in heiarchy of assignment, or am I destined to receive the pairing nobody else wants, assuming they have some ranked preferences on file?
