It’s around 3 years to hold Seattle as the plug on reserve. Probably about 4 years to become a line holder in SEA or PDX. Reserve time in any base is north of 2 years. You’ll have the seniority to hold captain before you’ll be a line holding FO at QX. This place is plagued by PNW locals who think the PNW and QX are gods greatest gifts and just camp out in the right seat. Error group has completely screwed over junior folks at QX for years to come. Meanwhile you can go to Skywest and be a line holder immediately out of training and you’ll actually fly east of Montana. If you want to sit around and never (and I mean never) fly on reserve and completely stop your career progression in its tracks come on over.
