EWR,

I know what you mean. When I am trying to avoid traffic I use the same logic. As long as I am moving I must be getting somewhere. No one has answered my question about what technic would have less brake wear. Very simple - more applications (riding the brakes to maintain 10 kts) vs a few applications until you get to the hold short. You have any input EWR?
