Go read the Anderson Teamsters 117 interpretation from
7/11/2014. That's exactly what the FAA said. Also said the company can force you to state year you are fatigued if you don't extend. To noone's surprise, Marc Anderson was (is?) the Republic pilot lawyer for Teamsters Local 357.
