Not to go off tangent here, but I just returned from a fundraising dinner at a fancy downtown hotel. In memory of my parents, my sisters and I have given $10,000 to a capital project (thus moving us to the Platinum Level of donors), but I bid on the live auction anyway. To make a long story short, I was the winning bid on a gift certificate to flight school! Any advice to a newbie who has a terrible barf reflex to just about anything and who is easily distracted by my new car's computer telling me it's 39 degrees outside? It's not like I was being asked to fly an F-18, you know, so why worry, eh?
