If I lose the trip I have at least on PB cashed at 8+ and could always decide to use more than 1 on day 1. But yeah somebody could blanket WS the trip and it doesn't get swapped back. I've done the hot potato and traded 2X and both pilots cashed in, in a day of 4 PCS runs. I'll try it, even 5:15 beats next years 4:15 SUP VAC.
If someone does pick up the trip you can always contact them and explain the situation. Maybe they will work with you for a few PCS runs and then they can keep the trip after you use your PB days. I have been cold called before and it was not a big deal - most Pilots are glad to help out.
