Agree it's huge. This depends on how willing the company is to play ball. It could indeed lead to a very long delay. Anyone who was here for the last contract will not give this a pass. It cost us huge.
I don't mind short delays on tech stuff, but economics need to happen NOW. I don't want a repeat of the 9.6 percent 401k match going to zero during the implementation period while they figure it out. Uh, you could do 10 but now you can't figure out how to do 12?
