On another note, many of the excessed 10 guys have not put in an excess bid as of this practice bid, but were still listed as excessed to other seats. I talked to a senior 10 capt who has nothing but 10ca on his standing bid, but was listed on the practice bid as being awarded 11 capt. Just as always, practice bids mean nothing.
So, there are 90 guys who got awarded MD-11 MEM on this practice. Assuming it was the real bid, that either means 90 junior guys get bumped or they go way fat in that seat (or something in between). Either way, does that get decided at a later date (after the real bid closes) and another bid comes out reflecting those excesses?
