Also Mesa dosnt really play with crappy power tripping dpe/instructors. They aren't like other airlines that allow this sort of behavior (and actually encourage it). If they see a specific person giving a highly disroportionate amount of failures compared with other examiners, they give him the boot and tell him to kick rocks. They just become regular line captains.
All dpe/instructors at Mesa are honest and very fair. If you failed something, you REALLY failed something. It can't be anymore fair and honest than at Mesa.
Mesa training managers do a really good job at keeping thier examiners in check. They did have a few in the past that were on power trips with questionable fails, they simply let them go.
