Class seniority is assigned by cadets date of entry, then total Part 121 hours highest to lowest, then oldest to youngest for everyone else. Orientation is all about onboarding paperwork. Signing bonuses are handed out. I recommend collecting phone numbers of your classmates and starting a WhatsApp thread. Envoy tends to push DECs through training faster than FOs. Our class of DECs was not given the option of bidding FO. You will receive EFBs and IDs in Indoc.
Summed it up very well.

Our class was 65 people, everyone given an official start date at Orientation, Nov 3. They sent us home after that, with the first group of us (the most senior third of the class) returning the following Monday for day 1 of Indoc. The 2nd third of the class came back 2 weeks after we started our Orientation; the last third of the class came back 2 weeks after those guys. They do that to stagger the sim times so there is ample schedule availability to get people right through. Again, holidays coming into the middle of this, could spread it out further.
