Not sure exactly what you mean by check out, but yes, you get 10 days. You can get a lot of definitive answers to your questions about Guam by referencing our contract. Just google United pilot contract and it will be the first hit. LOA 12-01 within the contract is the section pertaining to GUM.
I would definitely heed the advice of others, though, if you are looking to keep the family together… a CONUS option would be a much easier to manage and get assigned to before you even leave training.
