We can still agree to disagree on the contract. That said, I'm going to standby and see what comes out of Washington DC in the next few weeks. I give it slightly less than 50% that the [Biden] Administration signs off on this and lets it happen. Just my gut.
If approved, the Union really better hold the line on this and keep all of our protections in place. Base fences will also need to be in place regardless of aircraft type in case the Airbus fleets are liquidated in short order. ALL of this can be negotiated in a JCBA. Remember, both groups need to agree to that. With no JCBA in place, no merger moves forward.
