When ExpressJet closed their doors I got my buddy a meet and greet with an Alaska chief pilot... and he told my buddy that they really wanted 1000TPIC to be competitive. My friend had 9000TT and was an ERJ145 CA, but did not have 1000TPIC. He didn't get offered an interview and went to Spirit and now is at United.

My training event less than a year after that, I was transitioning from Airbus to Boeing and was paired with a new hire who had zero 121 time, very low multi time, and his turbine time was in a Caravan.

I don't know what my point is, other than that sometimes things here make zero sense and it's a pain to get through to people when every person involved in hiring is looking for something different. To the Alaska guy with 2500TT, reach back out to your contacts and gently remind them you're still interested. 121 time is not a requirement to work here... plenty of people have come straight from military, corporate, charter, fractional, etc.
