I had an F430 for several years. Did all the maintenance myself. Took it to the track and cruised around town. There is no magic Ferrari dust under the bonnet. Sure, there are some things you need special equipment (scanners/programmers) for, but you would only need those things for major repairs like engine/transmission replacement. But then that’s not typical ownership. Run of the mill maintenance is easy. Literally no more complicated than a Toyota. Pistons go up and down, wheels go round and round. Nothing special.
