This was 2010 and we were on final for 22 and about two miles outside the marker after a ride from FRA when the controller asked if we wanted 29. I thought it would be fun to hand fly the approach so said yes. The controller then said to fly to the outter marker before breaking off and the extent of my brief to the 22 YO 500 hour wonder in the right seat was "we're landing 29". My motto has always been the best brief is a brief brief.
Nice. Don’t see too many threats in that operation whatsoever.
