The first A321 NEO is in regular passenger service. It started flying passengers the last week of Nov. I flew it last week. Pretty sure #2 is in UAL hands but hasn’t started passenger service yet. The first NEOs will go to ORD per Flight Operations.
The A321 XLRs are delayed. Air Bus hasn’t certified them yet.
The seecond one, 4502, has been flying the PHX turns the past couple of days. (Heads up that the second flight deck jumpseat is defferred)
today starts ORD-FLL as well.
True that the XLR hasnt been certifed yet (latest ive seen is spring 2024) but really shouldn't impact United since we were not supposed to get them until late 2024, with international service in 2025.
