Fleet Captain sent me home vs rolling right from indoc to training and told me to call him when I was ready, but please show up ready to rock. If you need more time to study, it's cool keep us updated. Had been at Delta 3 days and the Fleet Captain sent me home, with pay, for as long as we needed. I figured I was being paid to study.
Return from Mil leave.. Sat NQAT (no qual awaiting training) for 6 months. Swapped aircraft for CA upgrade, was getting full pay to sit on ass on my couch. I managed to break collarbone, have it fixed, heal, and still hadn't had to call out sick. I studied the 320 stuff when I was stuck on the couch with my shoulder mummified.
But any studying for CQ or in my case going back to the 757? I just read that in cruise.
while it seems most on here at APC magically seem to study enroute, 99% of guys I fly with do not. Then we end up flying to San Juan and then give me the oh sh*t look when they have no idea what class 2 procedures are.
