'Twas the night before Christmas, in the business domain, The spirit of merger danced, a high-flying plane. JetBlue and Spirit, in a union they'd find, Anticipation soaring, approval in mind.
The shareholders nestled, all snug in their beds, With visions of profit margins, filling their heads. And CEO in his office, and board on their call, Waited for news that would soon deck the hall.
When out on the wires there arose such a chatter, Investors sprang from their seats to see what's the matter. Away to their screens, they flew like a flash, Tore open their apps, threw open the cash.
The moon on the breast of the virtual glow, Gave the luster of hope to objects below. When, what to their wondering eyes should appear, But an email confirmation, the merger was clear.
With a strategic alliance, so lively and quick, They knew in a moment, it was a sound pick. More rapid than eagles, the market it came, And they whistled and shouted, and called it by name!
"Now Spirit! Now JetBlue! A merger so grand! Onward together, as one we shall stand. To the top of the charts, to the market so vast, Now dash away, dash away, let the profits amass!"
So up to the summit, the stocks they did fly, With the spirit of merger, reaching the sky. And then, in a twinkling, the trading did start, The approval had come, igniting the market.
As investors exclaim, with delight in their eyes, Merry Merger to all, and to all, strong ties!
